Our team will accompany you to the hospital for a pre-op physical examination. This comprehensive examination covers basic blood tests, infectious disease tests, full-length X-rays or CT scans of the your lower limbs. Our surgeon will then carefully plan your surgery by analyzing the length, the mechanical axis, the anatomical axis, and the tibiofemoral angle of your lower limbs. After a meticulous calculation, the doctor will decide whether additional corrective surgery is required to deal with any existing orthopedics issues.
The CT scan can accurately measure the correct length of your bones, thus minimizing errors in lengthening.
After we have your body report, you will need to start fasting the night before the surgery.
